The vehicle underwent a complete body restoration, retaining as many original parts as possible, replacing any non-recoverable sheet metal.
Mechanically, the vehicle underwent a restoration at the Trinacria workshop in Catania, as follows: cylinder bore and stroke enlargement, bringing the displacement to 698cc. The pistons were specially stamped, and the cylinder heads were polished. The connecting rods were machined and lightened, as were the valve seats and crankshaft. New bearings. Rear crossmember springs, lowered oil pan, Abarth kit series muffler, recessed headlights, rear lights, license plate holder. Suspension spindles/driveshafts were new and machined. Leaf springs were reinforced for a stiffer ride. "Casa del freno Piacenza" brakes. Synchronized transmission, tachometer, and various easily removable Abarth trim elements
